Four tons of fossils, including dinosaur eggs, were returned to Buenos Aires yesterday from the United States.According to the Clarín, their arrival ended a long search that had begun in 2006 when Interpol—the international police force—discovered fossils being taken from Argentina to the United States for a minerals fair. However, the “Friday Night Dinner,” as it is so-called, is frequented every week by hundreds of Armenians and food lovers in a cultural center located in the heart of Palermo Viejo.

A long way from its home in Berlin, an original version of the silent filmMetropolis was just discovered in the Museo del Cine de Buenos Aires. How did it get there?Strangely, according to the Clarín,no one seems to be sure. What is certain, however, is that this copy is an exact version of the film that director Fritz Lang showed 81 years ago.Of course, the copy is very old and in need of restoration before it can match the restored 2002 version in quality. Fans of this great classic of German film can only be pleased, since the new scenes present in this copy will lead to a reexamination—and perhaps give some clarification—of this complex science fiction masterpiece.
