Last night, I took a friend to the airport to go to her home out West and we barely fit all her luggage into my car. She had a large bag filled with camping gear and food; a carry-on bag stuffed to its limits, a laptop computer, her purse, a Tiffany-style glass lampshade and an unwrapped fishing pole!  I warned her that she would never make it through check-in and Security, but - much to my surprise - she did! However, despite her success, I was inspired to write these travel tips about packing!

Though it will still be one of the best places on earth to get a steak, Argentina may not be among the top three exporters of beef in the world by the end of 2008.According to Farmer’s Guardian, the drop in beef exports is being caused by farmers who are switching to arable soil crops instead of cattle ranching. One crop whose high international market prices are luring Argentine farmers away from cows is soy.Forecasts predict that Brazil will continue to be the world’s largest beef exporter, with 2.2 million tons, followed by Australia and India.Argentina will probably fall to fifth place with 550,000 tons exported, behind fourth place United States, which is expected to export 600,000 tons. While no reflection on the quality of the beef in Argentina, it is an interesting shift in the farming tendencies of a traditionally beef heavy nation.
