What are the top green cities in the world? There are plenty of others in the publishing and green world who have created scientifically calculated (and not so scientifically calculated) lists of top green cities. So I’ve put together an ultimate list of the top green cities.

World Bicycle Relief, World Vision and Trek Travel have announced a $1,000,000 fundraising event in Zambia and South Africa. Cycling legend Johan Bruyneel and World Bicycle Relief president F.K. Day will lead a small group of influential and committed individuals to raise awareness of and provide solutions to the problems of mobility in rural Africa.
“This is an incredible opportunity to experience first-hand how something as simple as a bicycle can have a profound affect on addressing the needs of the poor,” said F.K. Day, who in addition to leading World Bicycle Relief is also executive vice president of SRAM Corporation.

Since July of this year, Croatian tourism can add one more luxury tourist resort to its offering, the Radisson Blu Resort, located in Orašac, 10 km north of Dubrovnik. The hotel features 201 hotel rooms and 207 residential suites and many different facilities. The resort was designed by architects Branimir Medic and Pero Puljiz. The interior design is the work of the London company Hirsch Bedner Associates, and the hospitality facilities are the design of Henry Chebanne of Blue Sky Hospitality,the world’s leading company in this segment, with over 100 design projects realized in over 25 countries all over the world.
