Guerrero Negro is located just south of the California Baja Sur state border, this is about 450 miles south of the U.S. border. Although a lot of Baja travelers simply drive through Guerrero Negro on their way to other towns, this place has some interesting attractions that are worth stopping.

These amazing caverns are located 52 Kms. from Taxco on highway 166 in the State of Guerrero. The Grutas de Cacahuamilpa or cacahuamilpa Grottoes make for a fascinating excursion.
