Hundreds of people have already gone downtown to get their free tickets for “Semana de Teatro Independiente” which runs from November 3rd to November 9th.The festival, sponsored by the city government, will have more than 277 plays and 400 performances, all free to the public.When ticket offices opened for the first time yesterday, there was a long line stretching down the sidewalk of people waiting to pick up tickets: two per show for three shows maximum.The plays will be performed at theaters across the city, including in Recoleta, Villa del Parque, Monte Castro, Villa Crespo, Flores and Vélez Sarsfield, so you can pick a theater near you.According to the city’s website, tickets can be picked up at Avenida de Mayo 575 from 11 to 7pm until November 1st.
