As part of the celebration of the Colón Theater’s one hundredth birthday, the theater has opened an exhibition dedicated to the technical side of theater.According to My Buenos Aires Travel Guide, the exhibit contains props, scenery, scale models, costumes, wigs and shoes, all of which have been used in past performances.Located at Tucuman 1171, entrance is ten pesos.Another exhibition by the Colón is “The Colón Outside the Colón,” a series of photographs of the building.Entrance is free and the event takes place inside the National Library.
